Perfect for towing and touring, Torqit’s new TWIN EXIT Y62 Patrol 5.6L Series 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 Stainless Performance Exhaust is specifically designed to create a deep note, increase power, and improve vehicle performance. Torqit's Y62 Patrol exhaust is manufactured using 304 grade stainless steel, with a thickness of up to 2mm. One of the thickest and most durable mandrel bent systems in Australia, the 304 grade stainless steel produces a deep note, maximises power and torque, reduces exhaust gas temperatures (EGT’s), and guarantees extreme strength in even the toughest terrain.

This exhaust follows the same path of the factory system. It is a twin 3″ system that begins from the catalytic converters, then trails into a twin exit 3.5″ tailpipe. The design contains two resonators and two mufflers, with the option to have a straight through design resonator instead at the rear. This design drastically reduces the restriction on the flow of the exhaust system whilst having the option of retaining a decent and acceptable sound, or unleashing the rumble (Let your inner child decide). Both options have minimal or non existant highway drone.

Once the internal combustion takes place on an exhaust system, the engine expels exhaust gasses in the form of high pressure pulses. These high pressure pulses create very powerful sound waves and muffler helps to reduces the sound to a tolerable level. The choice of mufflers in this system provides good performance and a nice tone without stealing too much back pressure.

Please also note that there are two different clearance versions available. The standard clearance version sacrifices a small amount of ground clearance to allow for the spare to remain under the vehicle. Meanwhile the high clearance version is more suited to vehicles setup for serious off road touring that have a rear swing-away style of bar that removes the spare tyre from under the vehicle.

Thick Stainless Steel

All Torqit exhausts have a thickness up to 2mm. This thickness produces a deeper note without cabin drone. Torqit exhaust systems are one of the thickest mandrel bent exhausts in Australia. Due to the thickness, it is extremely difficult to crack, so you can go off road with peace of mind that your system will stay intact.

304 Grade Stainless Steel

304 grade stainless steel is the highest quality material used for exhaust systems. The premium steel is more resistant to rusting and is much stronger than 409 grade stainless. Our high quality steel produces a deep note and guarantees extreme strength even in the toughest terrain.

Internal & External Welds

All Torqit Performance Exhausts have internal and external welds to increase the strength of the exhaust system. The reinforced system makes it extremely difficult to crack, even in tough off-road applications.

Mandrel Bent System

Mandrel bending supports the exhaust pipe from the inside as it is bent, this prevents crinkling of the pipe. The results are smooth and constant-diameter bends that reduce restriction and improve both the performance and efficiency of your engine.

INSTALLATION

This Y62 Performance Exhaust for a Nissan Patrol Series 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 is a full bolt together system, and takes approximately 2 hours to install.
